Ali Ameen Questions Army Chief’s Role in Imran Khan’s Legal Battles; Imran Khan Calls for Nationwide Unity

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Ameen Gandapur has directly questioned Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, asking whether the Army Chief himself, the federal government, or other elements are responsible for obstructing Imran Khan’s bail. He urged the Chief of Army Staff to present a clear stance on the matter.

Gandapur also expressed concern over the alleged presence of a serving ISI colonel at Adiala Jail, demanding transparency and an official explanation.

Meanwhile, from inside Adiala Jail, former Prime Minister Imran Khan issued a message to the nation, calling for unity in the pursuit of what he described as “true freedom.” He urged citizens from across Pakistan to participate in political gatherings, assuring supporters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of a warm welcome.

Ali Ameen Gandapur further emphasised that this struggle could only be won through strength and determination. He called on people to unite not for personal recognition but for Imran Khan’s cause, adding that “dialogue will only be possible once we are strong.” He alleged that judicial decisions were being written under external influence and urged the nation to come together without delay.
