PM Shehbaz Sharif Addresses Overseas Business Forum in London
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, delivered a keynote address at the Overseas Business Forum held in London, which saw participation from hundreds of overseas Pakistanis from the United Kingdom and across Europe. The event, organised by the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), also included senior leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and members of the Prime Minister’s cabinet, including Deputy Prime Minister and several federal ministers.
In his address, PM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated overseas Pakistanis for their achievements and highlighted their role as Pakistan’s true ambassadors abroad. He emphasised that their contributions and investments have significantly supported Pakistan’s economic growth and international image.

The Prime Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to allocate public funds for welfare and development, rather than war, stating:
“Our goal is to invest millions of dollars in the betterment of our people, not in conflict.”
Addressing regional issues, PM Shehbaz Sharif underscored the importance of resolving the Kashmir issue to achieve lasting peace in South Asia. He assured that Pakistan will continue to advocate for the rights of Kashmiris.
Reflecting on his recent Saudi Arabia visit, he highlighted the significance of international cooperation and the honor of protecting sacred sites, noting that Pakistanis have a duty to uphold their responsibilities as part of the global Muslim community.


The forum was attended by prominent PML-N figures, including former MNAs, senior ministers from Punjab, and representatives from the UK and Europe. The session at the venue was fully attended, reflecting strong engagement from the overseas Pakistani community.
The event concluded with a round of appreciation from attendees, acknowledging PM Shehbaz Sharif’s address and the government’s efforts to strengthen relations with Pakistanis living abroad.
