Pakistan Clinch Dramatic Asia Cup Rising Stars Title

In a nerve-shredding final in Doha, the Pakistan A side edged out the Bangladesh team in a super-over to lift the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 trophy.

After being bowled out for 125 in their 20 overs, Pakistan held their nerve as Bangladesh matched the total, finishing 125 for 9.  The match then advanced to a super-over, where Pakistan held their nerve to see off Bangladesh’s challenge and claim the title.

Key performances included a fighting 38 from Pakistan’s Saad Masood and tight bowling in the super-over. Bangladesh had earlier unleashed a thunderous 20-run 18th over to swing momentum their way, but Pakistan responded under pressure.

This win sees Pakistan remain undefeated throughout the tournament, a strong signal of depth and resilience in emerging talent.
