Three major public projects in Islamabad are nearing completion. Work on the T-Chowk Flyover, Shaheen Chowk Underpass, and Faizabad Interchange Remodeling projects has accelerated. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the T-Chowk Flyover, Shaheen Chowk Underpass, and Faizabad Interchange projects. The Interior Minister reviewed the progress of all three projects and inspected the ongoing construction activities.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed satisfaction over the development progress of the three projects. He instructed that, to further improve traffic flow at the Faizabad Interchange, Loop 1 and Loop 2 should be upgraded to three lanes. He also directed that landscaping and lighting be installed on both sides to enhance the beauty of the projects, and that all available resources be utilised to ensure their earliest completion.

Mohsin Naqvi stated that the completion of these projects will significantly improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and provide convenience to commuters. The T-Chowk Flyover will also benefit travelers coming from the twin cities and Punjab. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave the Interior Minister a detailed briefing on the progress of all three projects, informing him that approximately 80% of the T-Chowk Flyover project has been completed and that the flyover will be opened to traffic in early December.
One hundred percent of the piles cap and girders casting for the T-Chowk Flyover project has been completed, while 75% of the protective walls are finished. All 70 girders for the Shaheen Chowk Underpass have been launched, and work on the remaining girders will be completed soon. Work on Ramp 1 and Ramp 2 of the project has been fully completed. Foundations of the poles for the Faizabad Interchange project have been completed, the RCC walls are finished, and asphalt work is underway. CDA members, the Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
