A dignified and prestigious reception was organized in the French capital, Paris, in honor of Governor of Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, bringing together mayors from nearby cities, officials of the Pakistan Embassy, a French delegation, and prominent members of the Pakistani community, including social, business, and political figures.
The event was hosted by the Pakistan Business Forum France & Europe, where its Founder and President Haji Aslam Chaudhry warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and attendees.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the respect and honor he has received are a blessing from Almighty Allah and a result of Pakistan’s identity. He emphasized that the doors of the Governor House are always open for overseas Pakistanis. He praised expatriate Pakistanis for starting their journeys from scratch and achieving remarkable success abroad, calling their accomplishments a source of pride for Pakistan.



The Governor stated that the love of overseas Pakistanis for their homeland transcends all political affiliations, adding that Pakistan comes first for all of them. He acknowledged that over the past 77 years, the public has not always received the facilities they rightfully deserved, but stressed the need to move forward with tolerance, unity, and mutual respect despite differences of opinion.
Highlighting national defense, Governor Haider described Pakistan’s nuclear and missile programs as a strong shield for the country’s security. He noted that every national leadership contributed to strengthening the country’s defense, adding that the foundation of the nuclear program was laid by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and further reinforced by subsequent leadership.
Referring to recent regional tensions, he said that Allah Almighty granted Pakistan success, and this victory enhanced the country’s image on the global stage.



Members of the French delegation also shared their impressions of their recent visit to Pakistan, praising the country’s hospitality and rich culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman PML-N France Raja Ali Asghar said that Governor Punjab is known for keeping his doors open to the public at all times. Chairman Pakistan Business Forum Europe Sardar Zahoor Iqbal expressed gratitude to all distinguished guests for their participation.



The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and strong national defense.
