A case in London High Court against individuals who used offensive language against Pakistani institutions and the Pakistan Army has been lost by the defendant due to failure to present any evidence.
Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer has won a defamation case in London High Court against Adil Raja.
“Whether in Pakistan or any other country, justice always prevails over lies,” said Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer.
The British High Court has ordered former Major of the Pakistan Army, Adil Raja, to pay £50,000 in fines.
Adil Raja will also have to bear approximately £300,000 in legal costs, according to the British court’s ruling.
The court has directed Adil Raja to publish a summary of the judgment across all media platforms.
