The elections for the Anjuman Tajran Paper Merchant Association Rawalpindi-Islamabad were conducted under the supervision of the election board in a transparent and peaceful manner.
According to details, the election board comprised Chairman Rafiq Butt, Munees Khurshid, Zulfiqar Ali Malik, and Farooq, who ensured a fair and well-organised electoral process free from any irregularities.
Following the elections, the newly elected office bearers are as follows:
- President: Shakeel Ahmad Mughal Advocate
- Vice President: Chaudhry Faheem Yaqoob
- General Secretary: Usman Riaz Kachlu
- Joint Secretary: Rashid Mashkoor
- Finance Secretary: Chaudhry Muhammad Jahangir
To celebrate the new leadership, Muhammad Shabbir alias Chan Bao hosted a grand reception at a private banquet hall.
During his address, President Shakeel Ahmad Mughal expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah and thanked all members and voters for their trust and confidence. He pledged to work with full dedication to resolve traders’ issues and promote unity within the business community.
General Secretary Usman Riaz Kachlu praised the election commission board for conducting transparent and impartial elections, ensuring fairness throughout the process.
At the conclusion of the event, Muhammad Shabbir (Chan Bao) thanked all attendees for their participation and extended best wishes to the newly elected leadership for their future endeavors in promoting the interests of the traders’ community.
