England Secure Qualification for 2026 FIFA World Cup

England have officially booked their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after securing qualification with a game to spare in their European qualifying campaign.

Gareth Southgate’s side confirmed their spot following a confident 2–0 victory over Poland at Wembley Stadium, maintaining their unbeaten run in the group. Goals from Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham sealed the win, ensuring England finish top of their qualifying group.

The Three Lions will now turn their focus to preparations for the World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Fans are hopeful that England can build on their strong qualifying form and mount a serious challenge for the trophy next summer.

This marks England’s eighth consecutive World Cup appearance, continuing their record of consistent qualification under Southgate’s leadership.
