Addressing the ceremony, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his satisfaction over the impressive parade, praising the discipline, alertness, and commitment of the recruits.

“Your performance reflects not only physical training but also courage, determination, and passion to serve the country,” he said. “You are the first soldiers of a new era and the practical representatives of the major transformation taking place in the Federal Constabulary.”

He highlighted the historic evolution of the institution:

“The Frontier Constabulary has now become the Federal Constabulary. This force, with a history spanning over a century, has always distinguished itself through its traditions, heritage, and adaptability to evolving security challenges.”

The Minister underscored the force’s vital role in counter-terrorism operations, protection of government installations, securing national projects, and maintaining law and order.

Minister Naqvi noted that expanding responsibilities required a modern legal framework.

“Legal reforms were indispensable for this transformation. Through the new ordinance, a modern, strong, and effective legal foundation has been provided to this historic force.”

He also emphasised the government’s commitment to the welfare of the families of FC martyrs, citing the introduction of an improved martyrs’ package.

The recruits passing out today are the first to join the Federal Government’s Dedicated Riot Control Wing, a milestone in the force’s evolving role.

“Your every action will reflect the dignity of the state, the rule of law, and the trust of the people. I am confident you will fulfill this historic responsibility,” the Minister remarked.

He praised the Inspector General and the entire Federal Constabulary team for their efforts, commending the arrangements, performance, and overall progress demonstrated at the event.
