Mr. Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye, called on Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, at General Headquarters (GHQ) today.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with a strong emphasis on expanding Pak–Türkiye collaboration in the energy sector, strengthening bilateral ties, and exploring opportunities for broader strategic cooperation. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing partnership aimed at advancing common objectives and promoting regional stability.
The COAS underscored the deep-rooted historic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Türkiye, expressing gratitude for Türkiye’s consistent support to Pakistan at international forums. Minister Bayraktar conveyed Türkiye’s desire to further deepen cooperation in the energy domain and acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts toward regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
