Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 11 runs in a dramatic third One-Day International at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, clinching the three-match series 2–1.
Batting first after Pakistan chose to bowl, Bangladesh posted a competitive 290/5 in 50 overs. The innings was anchored by opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim, who scored a brilliant 107 runs, while Saif Hassan (36), Litton Das (41), and Towhid Hridoy (48*) provided important support to build a strong total.
Pakistan’s chase of 291 runs started shakily as Bangladesh’s bowlers kept pressure on the batting lineup. Despite a fighting 106 from Salman Ali Agha, Pakistan were eventually bowled out for 279, falling just short of the target.
Fast bowler Taskin Ahmed played a key role in Bangladesh’s victory, taking 4 wickets for 49 runs, while Mustafizur Rahman also contributed with crucial breakthroughs to restrict Pakistan’s chase.
The win gave Bangladesh the ODI series 2–1, marking an impressive performance against a strong Pakistani side in front of a home crowd. Tanzid Hasan Tamim was named Player of the Match for his match-winning century.
