Grand Pakistan Day Celebration Held at Pakistan Consulate Birmingham

A grand and spirited ceremony was held at the Pakistan Consulate in Birmingham to mark Pakistan Day, drawing a large number of overseas Pakistanis from Birmingham and surrounding areas.

The event began with a flag-hoisting ceremony in the consulate premises, where Consul General Malik Fahd Amjad proudly raised the national flag to the tune of the national anthem. The atmosphere was filled with patriotism as attendees chanted enthusiastic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad.”

The formal proceedings continued inside the consulate hall with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Pir Muhammad Tayyab-ur-Rehman Qadri. Following the recitation, Consul General Malik Fahad Amjad and Vice Consul Bakhtawar Mir read out special messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan. These messages highlighted the importance of Pakistan, emphasized national unity, and addressed the challenges facing the country.

A cake-cutting ceremony was later held to celebrate the occasion, adding to the festive spirit of the event. Speaking to the media, Consul General Malik Fahad Amjad and other distinguished participants reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to Pakistan’s progress, stability, and prosperity. They stressed the need for unity and urged all Pakistanis to rise above personal and political differences in times of difficulty for the greater national interest.

The ceremony concluded with a special prayer led by Pir Muhammad Tayyab-ur-Rehman Qadri for Pakistan, the Muslim Ummah, and Kashmir. Guests were then served tea, providing an opportunity to celebrate the memorable day together in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

The dignified event came to a close with a renewed sense of patriotism and a strong commitment to national unity.
