Brave Soldiers Martyred During Intelligence-Based Operation in Kurram District

On 29 October 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence‑based operation in the general area Dogar, Kurram District, following the reported presence of khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al‑Khwarij.

During the operation, seven Indian‑sponsored khwarij were neutralised as a result of effective engagement by Pakistani troops.

However, during an intense exchange of fire, Captain Noman Saleem (aged 24, resident of District Mianwali) a dedicated young medical officer who, besides performing his medical duties, fought gallantly embraced shahadat along with his five men.

The five soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice are:

  • Havildar Amjad Ali (aged 39, resident of District Swabi)
  • Naik Waqas Ahmad (aged 36, resident of District Rawalpindi)
  • Sepoy Aijaz Ali (aged 23, resident of District Shikarpur)
  • Sepoy Muhammad Waleed (aged 23, resident of District Jhelum)
  • Sepoy Muhammad Shahbaz (aged 32, resident of District Khairpur)

A sanitisation operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining Indian‑sponsored khwarij found in the area. The relentless counter‑terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan) by Pakistan’s security forces and law‑enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign‑sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
