Pakistan cricket fans are in for a treat later this year as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that the national side will host South Africa for a much-anticipated white-ball series following the conclusion of their two-Test encounter. The tour will run from 12 October to 8 November 2025, combining red-ball contests with a full slate of limited-overs action.
White-Ball Action Returns Home
The limited-overs leg of the tour will begin on 28 October with three T20 Internationals, followed by a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series. The T20Is will be split between Rawalpindi and Lahore, while the ODIs will be played entirely at the historic Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
This will be a particularly special occasion for Faisalabad fans, as the venue is set to host international 50-over cricket for the first time in 17 years. The last ODI at the ground was held in April 2008, making the upcoming matches a symbolic return for Pakistan cricket to one of its traditional homes.
