Major Adnan Shaheed hailed from a proud and honorable family of Swat. Despite being the son of a post office clerk, his exceptional talent and dedication earned him the rare distinction of graduating from the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK. Even while on leave, his passion for serving the motherland led him to volunteer for a critical mission, where he embraced martyrdom with courage and honor.
Major Adnan was an officer of Pakistan Army’s elite Special Services Group (SSG), renowned as the vanguard in the fight against terrorism. His sacrifice is not only a source of pride for the Pakistan Army but for the entire nation. Brave sons like Adnan belong to that distinguished line of martyrs who lay down their lives for the defense, sovereignty, and survival of Pakistan.
